The Estonian Karting Championships begin on June 20th at the Rapla circuit, where a representative field of competitors will compete for the first time since the state of emergency in eight different machine classes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heikki H\u00f5bem\u00e4gi, a member of the Estonian Karting Association's board: \u201cWe are very pleased that despite the difficult situation in the world, all the finest sons of Estonia are present, including those who, for some reason, could not make it to the track last year. For us, a magnificent season is now on the horizon.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As spectators are not yet permitted at sporting events in June, an opportunity to cheer on your favourites will be created via the portal kart.television.ee, which also offers post-race viewer-customisable additional features such as following the races of a competitor of your choice, highlights of the most exciting moments in the racing class, overtakes, or a summary of accidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The live broadcast will include significantly enhanced graphics, familiar from major racing series broadcasts, showing comparisons of lap times between competitors, progress graphs, and more. In terms of content, in addition to what's happening on the track, there will be pit lane action, interviews, repairs, and the accompanying drama. In the future, such a full-scale broadcast will be paid, but following the opening race, there will be an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the system's functionality free of charge until Sunday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

H\u00f5bem\u00e4gi: \u201cWith this year's video transmissions, we hope to take a big step forward, significantly expanding the technical capabilities while also bringing in more emotion and excitement. The aim is to give the viewer more information and make everything happening in the competitions clearer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final races will also be broadcast via the Delfi.EE portal from 3:00 PM. The races will start with the youngest karts in the Cadet class and will conclude with the fastest KZ2 class starting at 4:55 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
