The tournament is organised by <a href=\"http:\/\/basket.ee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Estonian Basketball Association<\/a><br>In 2026, the tournament took place on 3-5 January in Audentese Sports Hall and was played in the age groups WU16, WU18, MU16 and MU18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The games were held <strong>on two pitches simultaneously<\/strong>, which means that even the most enthusiastic fan will inevitably have to make choices.<br>And when you add to that parents, relatives and club mates living abroad, it's pretty clear that the audience doesn't fit within the walls of the hall. No, not even in a super hall, or a mega or giga hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.television.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/bsbc1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-687\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.television.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/bsbc1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.television.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/bsbc1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.television.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/bsbc1-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo by T\u00f5nis T\u00f5nstr\u00f6m. <a href=\"http:\/\/bsbc.ee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BSBC 2026<\/a> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/basket.ee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Estonian Basketball Association<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The broadcasts were produced by Levira AS using AI cameras permanently installed in the Audentes sports building.<br><strong>Television.ee<\/strong> was responsible for all output:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>transmission of transfers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ticketing for a fee <a href=\"http:\/\/sport.television.ee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sport.television.ee<\/a> in the environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>online viewer customer service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the organiser's point of view, this solution meant that. <strong>all online viewers were served in one place<\/strong> and did not require any intervention from the tournament organising team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.television.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/bsbc4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-690\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.television.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/bsbc4.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.television.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/bsbc4-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.television.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/bsbc4-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo by T\u00f5nis T\u00f5nstr\u00f6m. <a href=\"http:\/\/bsbc.ee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BSBC 2026<\/a> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/basket.ee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Estonian Basketball Association<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ticket model: see how it suits you<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BSBC 2026 used three ticket types:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Single match ticket<\/strong> - 3,90 \u20ac<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Day ticket<\/strong> - 7,50 \u20ac<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tournament pass<\/strong> - 17,90 \u20ac<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim was to give the viewer a choice.<br>Do you only want to see your child play?<br>Or follow the whole tournament?<br>Or maybe it's the one day you need to be in the office and show you're indispensable?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where were the tickets bought?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking at ticket sales by country, the markets differ considerably. But the Estonians only made 18% of the sales, so obviously many fans were on site in Audentes and thus <strong>the rest of the 82% BSBC ticket revenue came from the export of bits and bytes abroad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Latvia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Latvia, the pattern was similar.<br>The single game dominated and consumption tended to be selective - people watched \u201ctheir\u201d games rather than the whole programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finland<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the case of Finland, the picture gets more interesting.<br>While single match tickets were still the most purchased, it came to <strong>most of the revenue from tournament passes<\/strong>.<br>Maybe people will live with their own, and a ticket that costs less than half the price of the ship's buffet lunch for three days didn't seem like a particularly dramatic investment for a northerner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sweden<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sweden stood out the most.<br>There were <strong>tournament pass most popular ticket<\/strong>, primarily in terms of turnover, but also in terms of volume, the difference in favour of the single ticket was minimal.<br>This shows the willingness of Swedes to consume content over a longer period of time and in a larger package.<br>Or simply that they don't bother to think about it and buy everything at once. That's also a strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Which tickets were worth selling?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Single match ticket<\/strong> is the most popular choice by quantity in each country. Simple, logical and with a low entry barrier because it is in a similar price range to a tank coffee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tournament pass<\/strong> is the most important source of revenue for international audiences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Day ticket<\/strong> remained the weakest product in each country. Not that there shouldn't be such an opportunity, as the highest proportion of people buying this ticket was in Estonia.
