Moving towards a green future - sustainable video production

With a thoughtful gaze, environmental consciousness, and adherence to sustainability principles, the Television.ee video production team has set its sights on a greener future. Our journey towards becoming the greenest broadcast station in Estonia is filled with innovative ideas and dedication.

The video attached to the article presents the journey of the Television.ee team, led by Rando Mere, in creating one of Estonia's most environmentally friendly transmission stations. We have a deep desire to leave the world a better place for future generations, and the initiative shown in the video is a reflection of this wish. We are particularly pleased that on this journey, we are also being assisted by a large company that shares our sustainable mindset. Glass Drive.

Electric vehicles – Television.ee's progress in green mobility

The Television.ee team is not just part of the media world, we are also part of nature. Before every live broadcast or video production, we charge the camera batteries and other equipment using energy from our own solar panels. We are proud to be able to broadcast on the go, using fuels produced from renewable raw materials, but our goals must be even greater. We need to achieve the lowest possible carbon footprint from our team's activities.

Therefore, electric vehicles are the future, and we are fully investing in them. This particular white bus is not yet ours, but thanks to good friends, we can test it to see if it would be suitable for us. If it is, then it's not just an electric bus, but a step towards our environmentally conscious future. It's a bus that can travel an impressive 300 kilometres on a single charge, giving us the opportunity to take our services to even more remote parts of Estonia while remaining environmentally friendly. This bus has twice the range of other buses currently available on the market at the time of writing this article.

The use of renewable energy – small but necessary victories

All our other substation buses, which are not yet electric, at least use diesel fuel made from renewable raw materials. This is our answer to environmental issues concerning vehicles that use internal combustion engines. The generator trailers also consume the aforementioned fuels. Next my diesel fuel from renewable sources, to ensure the lowest possible ecological footprint.

All of our video production is geared towards minimal environmental impact. We are not big on words, but big on actions. We strive not only for technical perfection, but also for sustainability to be an integral part of what we do.

Sustainable video production – important to be part of a sustainable future

The words of Rando Mere reflect the dedication of the Television.ee team and their aim to be part of a sustainable future. We are here to show that media and environmental friendliness can go hand in hand, and that our actions can serve as an inspiring example to others.

Just as the Estonian people have always been modest and practical, so are we. We do not seek quick recognition, but wish to take firm steps towards a better tomorrow. The Television.ee team is dedicated to creating the greenest broadcasting station in Estonia, not only for our own future, but for the future of the entire society. We believe that sustainable video production is the right path.
